Floral Birthday Card

Image
This was a blatant ripoff of Kristina Werner's card , but I just loved the ink colors she used to make the background, along with the white heat embossed florals on top...I just had to. Mad respect to her talented self for coming up with this first. I'm not worthy! Haha! :) Products Used: Concord & 9th Hello Lovely MFT Label Maker Sentiments Distress Inks VersaFine Ink VersaMark Ink WOW Embossing Powder

MFT Sketch Challenge #425

I've had this card rolling around my head for awhile. Unfortunately, I had never made a slider card before and was a very intimidated to try. A fellow crafter was kind enough to send me some slider dies, so I decided to take the plunge! I won't lie -- this card was a pain in the butt. Thankfully, I took other crafters' advice and did a practice card, first. I love how the little chef disappears and reappears from behind the wall, serving his patron with some yummy sushi! MFT Sketch Challenge #423

I haven't done any card challenges lately, sadly. After my Christmas card spree, I just got tired and burned out from cardmaking all together. But I decided to try to get back into it. As best I can, at least. With Valentine's coming up, I decided to make a cute and vibrant card for a family member. Inspired by the "new" Hearts & Stripes Paper Pack from MFT , I used colors that coordinated with the pack.
